"What if ... What if Konoha and her world existed nowadays, wars and clans and hidden villages a part of her rich past? What if the ninja traditions slipped in the shadows to survive? What if said ninja still existed?

My name's Hatake Kakashi. Or you can say Kakashi Hatake, European-like. I live on my own, I go to school, I have friends... and I'm a Konoha ninja. That alone shoud be enough. But war is brewing in the dark streets, gangs and cartels are moving one against the others to attract the attention of the new underground lord - and the people I held dear are starck in the middle of things."

This fic is an AU using Naruto from Mashashi Kishimoto, transposing people and events in an urban setting. It contains references to drugs, alcohol, couples of both sexs, violence, language, death, various issues - so please read responsibly.

I highly recommend Minisinoo's site The Medicine Wheel which held an amazing number of very, very good fics on both Harry Potter and X-men fandoms. She writes amazingly well (and when I discovered her site I just had to read everything. I did.).
